A proposal to regulate short-term rentals in East Baton Rouge Parish is gaining traction.
Yesterday, Councilwoman Tara Wicker answered reporters' questions at the Baton Rouge Press Club.
The plan would essentially cap how many properties could be Airbnbs in some neighborhoods.
Wicker said the proposed ordinance started in the city's historical districts, but it's an issue that a lot of Baton Rouge neighborhoods are concerned about.
Public meetings on the matter are set to take place at the end of summer.
