Baton Rouge Police say they have taken a man into custody after an eight-hour standoff inside a home yesterday on South 10th Street.
According to reports, 36-year old John Allen was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated assault and domestic abuse with child endangerment.
Witnesses say Allen was inside the home waving a gun at others and refused officer's orders to leave.
A SWAT team was called to the scene and were able to negotiate Allen's surrender with no reports of injuries.
