Charges are being upgraded in the case of a son fatally shooting his father during a domestic dispute in Baton Rouge.
On June 3rd, 53-year-old Burt Templet was shot three times by his son 17-year-old Anthony Templet after the pair were arguing.
Officials said the father was not expected to survive and he succumbed to his injuries on June 6th, prompting the charge upgrade.
The son admitted to the shooting and his charge of attempted manslaughter has been upgraded to manslaughter.
