A nine-year-old boy is dead after what police believe was an accidental shooting yesterday at a home on Lanier Drive near Prescott Road.
According to reports, authorities say the boy was shot by his eleven-year-old brother while the two were playing with a firearm that went off by mistake.
Police say the older child was taken into custody and charged with negligent homicide.
Officials did not release the name of the victim or his brother pending the outcome of their investigation.
