Neese Industries, the longtime Ascension Parish business that specializes in rain gear, will be closing for good on May 31st.
The business located on Airline Highway just outside of Gonzales first opened for business 66 years ago.
Reports state Neese has been bought out by Radians, a Memphis-based company. which says they will absorb the Louisiana workload at their Tennessee and North Carolina facilities.
