Baton Rouge's hazardous waste collection is reporting record attendance on Saturday.
About 2,000 people showed up to Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge to dispose of hazardous waste. City officials say they're pleased with the large turnout because they don't want hazardous waste to end up in trash cans.
Last month, two garbage trucks caught on fire because hazardous material wasn't disposed properly.
