A man accused of stabbing his wife to death last year is back in custody after being freed last Friday on a lower bond than had been set by a judge.

A reported mix-up allowed Michael Vallery to be freed on $150,000 bond, $50,000 short of the court-ordered bond of $200,000.

A fugitive task force caught up with Vallery in Abbeville late yesterday afternoon for booking back into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
