Glitch Leaving Young People Out Of EBR Jury Pool Now Resolved

Quiet sign court session

Officials say a glitch in the East Baton Rouge Parish jury database has been fixed.

The glitch left off more than 150,000 people, with a majority of them being people born after June 2nd, 1993, from being selected for jury duty. It was discovered in the murder trial of Grover Cannon, the man who allegedly shot and killed a Shreveport Police officer.
