A Baton Rouge woman is facing charges after allegedly abducting two young children late Saturday night and stealing their mother's car.
Police say 21-year-old Kaylan Thomas was arrested for simple kidnapping and vehicle theft.
She's alleged to have gone to a home on North 30th Street where a two-year-old and a six-year-old answered her knock at the door while their mother was sleeping. Thomas and the children were later found on North Sherwood Forest Boulevard where the vehicle had broken down.
