A now-former employee of the 19th Judicial District Drug Court program in Baton Rouge is in a heap of trouble.

At last word, 54-year-old Nina Burage was not in custody but was being sought on a warrant related to her alleged falsification of hundreds of drug tests in exchange for cash payments of up to $400 a week from each participant involved in the scheme.

She allegedly would advise them of when to expect the next drug test and is accused of not sending or voiding hundreds of drug tests between 2014 and last year.

Burage is facing one count each of malfeasance in office and falsifying public records.
