A city civil service board is reversing the firing of a Baton Rouge officer.
The Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board voted 3 to 2 yesterday that Yuseff Hamadeh's dismissal violated the Police Officer's Bill of Rights. That's because he was allegedly not allowed to have counsel present at a polygraph exam he took after shooting at a fleeing motorist in August.
Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul says he will appeal the decision.
