Sheriff's officials in Livingston Parish say a man is in custody for a shooting around noon on New Year's Eve that left the victim suffering from multiple wounds.
Deputies arrested 38-year-old Michael Meade around 2 p.m. yesterday, or about two hours after the shooting near Lotts Lane in the Watson area.
No word on the motive or the current condition of the victim whose name was not released.
