Police in Louisiana's capital city are investigating a deadly Christmas morning shooting.
Authorities say it happened just after 5 a.m. at an address on Blackberry Street near Williamson where officers found the victim deceased on the lawn of a residence. He's been identified as 37-year-old Gerald Augustus Jr.
As of last night, no suspect or motive information had been released.
