The oldest son of Alton Sterling is being accused of sexually assaulting a child.
Court documents state 18-year-old Cameron Sterling of Baton Rouge was taken into custody Wednesday. According to documents, the alleged incident took place on December 8th and involved an eight-year-old he was babysitting.
Sterling has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on first-degree rape charges, and bond has not yet been set.
Alton Sterling was killed in a controversial police shooting in 2016.
