A Baton Rouge businessman is reportedly free on bond after being booked last Wednesday on a second-degree murder charge.

The sheriff's office arrested 42-year-old Kevin Hewitt Dukes after 55-year-old Julius Thomas Sr. was found shot to death, his tarp-wrapped body found dumped along South Flannery Road.

WBRZ-TV reports that Dukes posted bond yesterday.

Family members say the two men had been involved in an ongoing argument over money that Thomas allegedly owed Dukes.
