Hundreds of families who may not have had anything to eat on Thanksgiving will now have a table full of food.
On Saturday, Essential Credit Union and The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank partnered to give out 400 meals. Volunteers handed out bags of food containing a hen and all the fixings.
A spokesman for the food bank says, "We need to take care of each other."
