State police say they've arrested a Livingston Parish man in connection with leaving the scene of an accident that led to the death of a motorcyclist early Sunday morning.
The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Coty Metrejean of Denham Springs
Troopers say the crash happened on LA-447 near I-12, the biker dying later at a hospital after his Harley was hit from behind.
They managed to find the suspected driver, 21-year-old Lorenzo Gamaz, at his home in Walker, arresting him on charges that include negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run resulting in death.
