Louisiana State Police added 48 new state troopers in the most recent graduating class.
Although the class earned their badges through months of training, it was a full circle moment years in the making for Trooper Tiah Larvadain. She's joining her mother, Lieutenant Treone Larvadain, to become the first mother-daughter duo in state police history.
For the Larvadains, the accomplishment isn't just about them, but for all women interested in law enforcement. They say anyone can be an officer if they set their minds to it.
