A Baton Rouge cop who was fired after allegedly shooting his weapon at a man he claimed opened fire first plans to appeal his dismissal before the end of the week.
An internal investigation failed to uphold Officer Yuseff Hamadeh's version of what happened after a motorist fled a traffic stop in August and he was terminated.
21-year-old Raheem Howard says he wasn't armed and didn't shoot at Hamadeh, and prosecutors couldn't find any conclusive evidence that he did.
Still, Hamadeh's attorney says his client is sticking to his story and wants his job back.
