A man is in custody in Livingston Parish after apparently causing a small explosion and fire while allegedly trying to make meth in his Denham Springs apartment.
He wasn't injured and neither was anyone else.
Authorities say Jeffrey Owens had apparently put propane and other items in a microwave and turned it on, resulting in the explosion and flames Wednesday afternoon.
He was arrested on multiple charges.
