The Supreme Court of Louisiana is permanently barring a Livingston Parish attorney from ever practicing law again in Louisiana or any other jurisdiction.

The action has been taken against A. Wayne Landry after a 20-minute video recorded by a woman surfaced of Landry attempting to solicit sexual favors from her in exchange for legal help. Other women came forward also to complain of similar inappropriate behavior.

Landry is permanently resigning from the practice of law to head off further disciplinary action.
