Two people are dead and a third person is injured as the result of a two-vehicle crash in Baton Rouge Monday afternoon.
A car and a flatbed truck collided on South Foster around 2 p.m., leaving the smaller vehicle heavily damaged. One of the occupants died at the scene while the other died after being transported to a hospital.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
