Officials say they will have an estimate for the downtown library fixes before Labor Day.
The River Center Branch Library has been experiencing structural issues for weeks.
A memo from the city says engineers are going to lift separated structural parts before welding them back in place. Design firm WHLC Architecture says the library's features will be as originally designed when they are done.
