Ex-LSU Band Director Placed On Administrative Leave

The man terminated more than two years ago as director of LSU's Golden Band from Tigerland is in trouble with another school, this time in Florida.

Reports from WEAR-TV say that Roy King has been placed on administrative leave at J.M. Tate High School in Escambia County, where he's led "The Showband" since last year.

The action was taken after complaints were made to the sheriff's department.

LSU fired King for alleged policy violations in 2016. He later sued and won a financial settlement.
