A Metairie man is missing with a search of the Bonnet Carre Spillway and nearby areas underway for him.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed Tuesday night that the pickup truck of 61-year-old Clarence Schlamp of Metairie had been located near a campsite along with a note saying he was in the area and would return soon.
Schlamp hasn't been heard from since Friday.
Searchers are using a variety of methods including drones, ATVs and boats to try and locate him.
