If you're among those who rely on a bus in the Baton Rouge area to get you from here to there, then you could have a transportation problem soon.

The staff of the Capital Area Transit System presented plans during a public meeting Tuesday night that call for the elimination of 145 under-used bus stops.

CATS is looking to focus its resources on its more popular routes, offering more frequent service and longer hours of operation.

Another public meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. today at the Downtown Development District on Florida Street and at the same time tomorrow at the Charles R. Kelly Community Center on Riley Street.
