A Louisiana Black Bear is no longer roaming the streets of Central.
The animal was first discovered Wednesday night about 150 miles from its home in Winn Parish. It reportedly emerged from a wooded area, walked around and then climbed a tree and went to sleep.
State wildlife agents sedated the bear Thursday morning and later released it back into the wild on public land in the northern part of the state.
