Report: Trooper Involved In Local Shooting Returns To Work Friday

An investigation continues into a trooper-involved shooting in Baton Rouge early Tuesday morning.

The Advocate reports Trooper Kasha Domingue shot and wounded a passenger in a vehicle who bolted out of the back seat into her vicinity.

The vehicle was stopped for allegedly making an illegal U-turn. The driver was arrested on traffic charges.

The newspaper reports that Dominque, who is to return to work Friday, fired her taser weapon at a fleeing passenger from a traffic stop Monday night.
