Temporarily filling the East Baton Rouge Metro Council seat left vacant with the death of Buddy Amoroso in a bike accident isn't going all that smoothly.
Four Democrats on the panel initially said they would abstain from voting on the matter, seen by some as an apparent effort to have Governor Edwards fill the District 8 seat.
However, they have since changed their mind pending an interview with Amoroso's widow, Denise, who is apparently interested in succeeding her husband, or at least providing input.
