Students will be digging deeper to attend Southern University this fall.
The school's Board of Supervisors gave the green light yesterday to a five-percent fee increase that, on average, should cost undergraduates about $220 more per semester.
The hike is expected to bring in $2.5 million in revenue to Southern that has seen state funding decrease over the past decade.
