Eric Duhon, Jr., 21, faces a second-degree murder charge in the death of Madeleine Falgout, 20.
Falgout's body was found Monday morning inside a home on Academy Drive in Fordoche after she did not show up for work.
It's suspected she was beaten to death with a baseball bat.
