New Cruise Ship To Make Stop In Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge will be among the stops for American Cruise Lines' newest ship, American Song.

The Advocate reports the ship will set sail on its first New Orleans-to-Memphis trip on October 6th, an eight-day, seven-night excursion.

American Song, among the first of the so-called modern riverboats, accommodates 184 passengers and marks the third American Cruise Line ship to make regular stops in Baton Rouge.
