Baton Rouge has one of the lowest gas prices in the country.
The week is starting with an average of $2.59 a gallon for the city. That compares to $2.92 a gallon as the average nationwide.
Regular-grade gasoline prices in the U.S. have been steadily rising for several weeks, but experts say there has recently been a drop in crude prices which could be seen at the pump.
