Two people are in custody and facing multiple charges related to the shooting death yesterday morning of a man in Denham Springs.
The victim, Billy Forrest, died after being transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Livingston Parish sheriff's detectives arrested 24-year-old Daniel Roberts last night for second-degree murder. A second suspect, Cary Cedotal, was arrested earlier in the day for drug violations, obstruction of justice and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
