Saturday's voting in East Baton Rouge Parish is obviously over, but it wasn't crystal clear beforehand whether a half-dozen tax measures on the ballot would all pass.
However, they did, including sales taxes to help fund construction projects and upgrade technology in the school district. Funds from two tax measures for the St. George Fire Department will be used to improve its facilities.
Election turnout was about 11% of registered voters.
