City officials are expecting a preliminary report tomorrow as to what went wrong at the River Center Library that's under construction in downtown Baton Rouge.
Remedial work is underway requiring heavy equipment that's blocked off some streets.
The area was evacuated last week when the stability of the building was brought into question. An investigation found that the weld had broken on two steel beams, but it wasn't clear why.
