Folks driving in downtown Baton Rouge will have to avoid a couple of roadways as efforts continue to repair a library that's under construction.
Businesses near the River Center Library were evacuated last Wednesday when it was believed the building was settling. Instead, the weld joining two steel beams broke.
Several street closures in the area of the project were announced last night by the Mayor to accommodate large equipment needed to carry out remedial work on the building.
