State police say they've arrested a couple from Gonzales in the April 7 death of a five-year-old in Ascension Parish.
Troopers say their probe determined that 31-year-old Angela Gaudet was at the wheel of a GMC Yukon that slammed head-on into the vehicle Addisyn Teekell was a passenger in.
Joey Gaudet is charged with obstruction of justice for claiming that he was driving the SUV. Angela Gaudet is facing charges that include vehicular homicide, negligent injuring and no child restraints.
