Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry says his office will not be bringing criminal charges against two white Baton Rouge police officers involved in the July 2016 shooting death of Alton Sterling.
Sterling was shot by Officer Blane Salamoni while resisting arrest.

Landry made the announcement yesterday, saying both officers' actions were reasonable and lawful given the circumstances at the time.
Departmental disciplinary hearings for Salamoni and Officer Howie Lake the Second are expected to wrap up by Friday.
