A man is jailed in Ascension Parish after allegedly opening fire on officers in Gonzales late Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to the Vesta Mobile Home Park on a report that an armed man was threatening residents. They say when they located Aaron Moser and tried to summon him, he fired three shots and police returned one.
They say no one was injured, and Moser, who's facing charges that include attempted first-degree homicide of a police officer, was arrested hours later while trying to hide under and around trailers in the park.
