Louisiana House Speaker Taylor Barras says it's "do or die" today when it comes to votes on proposed legislation to erase the state's massive revenue shortfall come the end of June. State lawmakers have made virtually no progress towards that goal since being called into special session February 19th. Changes in federal tax law will erase 300-million-dollars in red-ink, but there's still a hole of 700-million-dollars to plug.
