State Lawmakers Can't Agree On Fixes To LA Budget

State lawmakers remain at odds with each other on how to resolve a looming billion-dollar budget deficit.  They are about half-way through a special session called by the governor to deal with the massive red-ink crisis, and not a single piece of legislation to resolve the problem has made it to the finish line.  The House stalled yesterday on a package of bills approved in committee Sunday.  It'll return to work tomorrow.
