The former police chief of a small Livingston Parish town is facing charges.
A grand jury indicted Dennis Hill yesterday on one count of malfeasance in office. He's accused of billing the town of Killian for overtime hours when he was actually out of the state at the time.
Officials say Hill also misused a gas card he was issued and mishandled dozens of parking tickets.
