A Livingston man is headed to prison after entering a no-contest plea in the killing of a woman almost four years ago with a pocketknife.

Caleb Lejeune was about to go on trial for murder when he entered the plea to lesser charges of manslaughter and obstruction of justice.

He was sentenced to serve 60 years behind bars in the August 2014 death of 47-year-old Joy Messina, who was found stabbed in the throat at a home on Satsuma Road.
