Four people are facing first-degree murder and attempted armed-robbery charges in the beating death of a Prairieville man.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office says 48-year-old Brian Long was lured to a home Sunday and one of the occupants hit him in the back. It says Long took off and apparently was beaten to death when the men caught up with him on Brown Road.
All four suspects, Mark Forbes, Fallon Gautreau, Jason Giles and Joseph Oncale, are being held without bond.
