No injuries are being reported after a natural gas pipeline explosion along River Road in Geismar.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office says the pipeline ruptured early yesterday afternoon, but there's no word on why. Authorities say there was no danger to those living in the area.
The explosion, that sent flames high into the air, occurred near the International-Matex Tank Terminal on Louisiana 75.
