State Probe Into Alton Sterling Death Still Ongoing

Baton Rouge Reels In Aftermath Of Ambush Shooting Killing Three Police Officers

There is still no clear indication on just when the state will conclude its investigation into the officer-involved shooting death of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge.

Its been a year and a half since Sterling, a black man, was shot to death after being forced to the ground by two white officers.

Attorney General Jeff Landry said at a Rotary Club meeting yesterday that his department was working as fast as it can to wrap up the investigation in a very thorough manner.
