A Baton Rouge man is charged with attempted second-degree murder after being accused of repeatedly striking another man in the head with a pipe.
The victim told police that 35-year-old Demetrius Jackson also threatened to kill him several times during the assault that began while he was sleeping. Investigators found blood all over the Winnebago Street home the two shared on Sunday.
No word on the motive for the attack.
