An autopsy will be performed to determine an exact cause of death for a jail trusty who died hours after helping offload bottled water from a truck to the Ascension Parish Prison.
Chief Deputy Bobby Webre says 45-year-old Henry Knockum of Donaldsonville died early Thursday morning of an apparent heart attack.
The jail was bringing in bottled water because of low water pressure at the facility due to the cold.
