Louisiana State Police are being cleared of any liability in a deadly pursuit crash that happened just over 13 years ago.
The Advocate reports the 1st Circuit Court of Appeal has ruled that the decisions made by the driver of the vehicle being chased, 14-year-old Sylvester Bristol Jr., were the sole reason for the crash on I-10 in East Baton Rouge Parish.
The three-judge panel found that troopers involved in the pursuit acted reasonably.
